Story

What does the work force look like today? What is the face of labor in the 21st century? The only moment we get to see what workers look like is on the news, yelling next to a pile of burning tires. I took advantage of a corporate commission for a large cement company to try and put a face (or a few faces) on the label “factory worker”.

I have met people who love their job, love the industry they are in, and would tell me at length about the beauty of this truck, or that conveyer belt. I met some beautiful people, and I am thankful to them for letting me in.
